Sawako Furukawa

Bio
Sawako Furukawa is a fashion designer with an expertise in handbag design.
After graduating in textile design from Nagaoka Institute of Design Japan, she attended the Master’s in Fashion Design at Domus Academy, Milan, Italy. Through the project with one of the most known luxury handbag designer, Daniela Puppa, Furakawa was inspired by a precious craftsmanship. She has valuable work experience in various fashion houses as an accessory designer, such as Dior Homme, Gianfranco Ferré e Versace. Furukawa currently works at Bottega Veneta as a SENIOR HANDBAG DESIGNER.
In parallel, she created her original garment collections ranged through textile design to sawing and she organized two exhibitions by herself and participated in a fashion show.
