One of the most exciting aspects of your Domus Academy experience is that you can join innovative design projects with leading international and Italian companies.

Every Master’s Programme features four workshops, plus a professional experience module, where you can apply the techniques that you’ve learnt in class to real-worldbusiness projects.

This is what it means to “learn by designing” – it is a revolutionary approach that Domus Academy has cultivated over decades of partnering with leading brands in design, fashion, business, and architecture.

To date, our students have worked with countless companies, making industry connections that have helped launch their design careers. This is one of the reasons why 95% of our graduates are employed one year after graduation, according to a survey conducted by third-party research firm Nielsen.

PROJECTS - Companies
Hands-on Workshops with Brands

In every four-to-five-week workshop, you can work on challenging briefs presented by a leading brand, studio, or consultancy firm. Each workshop includes:

  • The launch. A company representative or Domus Academy project leader launches a creative brief.
  • The intermediate review. Company/design studio representatives review your project halfway through the session and offer guidance on your approach.
  • The final presentation. Once you have completed your project, you can present it to faculty and to company/design studio representatives and get feedback on your ideas and performance.

Professional Experience

During the Professional Experience module of every Master’s Programme, you can choose from two types of experiences: an internship at a company site and a field learning experience working on campus for a company. Companies participating in our Professional Experience period include:

Scholarships and Contests

Several of our partner companies offer scholarships to prospective Domus Academy students. For enrolled students, companies host contests, typically asking for finished projects on specific themes. Winners receive funding for their Domus Academy education or other prizes. Some of the companies offering scholarships include:

Career Days

Domus Academy’s Career Services Office organises recruiting sessions on campus and company premises. Career Day” are an opportunity for you to build relationships with companies across various areas of design, fashion and business, such as:
