Placement Survey

Placement survey

Every year, Domus Academy alumni move on to professional roles in design studios, major corporations and institutes. Many launch their own start-ups in their home country and around the world.
Some of them continue to collaborate with Domus Academy, returning as project leaders and guest lecturers as they develop rewarding international careers.

The 2022 survey conducted by Nielsen to investigate the career paths of our recent graduates, analysing the employability status and job experience of former students, showed encouraging and inspiring results.

The survey showed an employment rate of 88% within one year of graduation, for the 89% consistent with the program followed by employed alumni. Students expressed satisfaction with their work placements with a job satisfaction of 88%.

Conducted between March and May 2022, our survey involved 2020 graduates of all Academic Master’s programs, which formed the sample, using the methodology of C.A.W.I. (Computer Aided Web Interviewing) and C.A.T. (Computer Aided Telephone Interviewing).

Domus Academy results are particularly relevant considering public statistics such as the Professional Master Graduates’ Employment report conducted by the Interuniversity Consortium AlmaLaurea: within one year of graduation, the employment rate for first level master graduates in the subject area is 79,4%. In the most recent 2021 Eurostat survey, the statistical office of the European Union, tertiary levels of education (undergraduate and postgraduate) in the European Union see an employment rate average of 84.9%.
