Throughout the year, Domus Academy launches portfolio or project-based Scholarships contests. The scholarship amount is calculated on the standard tuition fee. Winners are selected through a merit-based ranking.

Diritto allo Studio Universitario [DSU] – Regional Law of Lombardy no. 33

NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti Milano) is entrusted with the management of any actions regarding the right for University Studies (DSU) for those students enrolled in Domus Academy 2-year MA Programmes.

The expression “Diritto allo Studio” includes all the actions taken by NABA to provide equal access to university studies as foreseen by the Lombardy regional law n. 33, December 13, 2004.

The benefits are awarded through a competition, held annually on the basis of specific financial and merit requirements.

DSU CALL A.Y. 2024/25

Application Requirements and Regulations for the a.y. 2024/25 scholarships can be found below.

Applications to be admitted to the selection process shall be submitted online by September 26^th 2024, without postponement, by completing the online application form available at this link.

Upon uploading the data online, the application form is to be sent, printed and signed. Within 24 hours after the online application has been forwarded, you will receive a confirmation email with all data entered in the form.

The printed application form must be signed and sent to the DSU Office, enclosing the following:

1. Online application submission form, printed and duly signed;
2. Copy of a valid identity card/passport;
3. For income and assets in Italy: I.S.E.E and certificates including the relevant single self-certification declaration (Dichiarazione sostitutiva unica – D.S.U.) signed by the declarant;
4. For income and assets abroad: the documentation referred to in paragraph 2.3.3) ASSESSMENT OF THE FINANCIAL STATUS AND ASSETS OF FOREIGN STUDENTS;
5. For invalid students, a copy of the certification issued by the Medical Commission attesting the percentage of disability;
6. For students who have attained a three-year bachelor’s degree at another university, a university academic history transcript attesting the date of the first matriculation;
7. For Non-resident students: lease agreement duly registered with the Agenzia delle Entrate by the 15th of November 2024.

The online application does not in any way replace the submission of the application on paper – Any failure to submit a document within the prescribed period or the submission of an invalid document shall result in exclusion from this selection process.

The above mentioned documentation should be sent by recorded delivery with proof of receipt to the DSU Office of DA – Via Darwin, 20 – 20143 Milan – Italy, by October 3^rd 2024 (the date of the postmark will be valid) or be hand delivered in a sealed envelope to NABA Reception (the date of the delivery receipt will be valid), otherwise the applicant will be excluded from the selection process.

Before submitting your application, please verify that you meet the general entry requirements (both merit and income*).

*The financial situation of foreign students with family living abroad without income and assets in Italy is assessed according to the ISEE (the reported equivalent financial situation indicator abroad), on income earned in 2022 and the value of movable and immovable assets owned as of 31st December 2022 by the student’s family. All official fiscal documents must be translated into Italian by an official translator and legalized. The Academy DSU Office will calculate the ISEE for foreign students without any income or assets in Italy and whose family resides abroad. No other ISEE index calculated by other institutions will be accepted.

For this purpose students are to submit all the documents listed in the call.
