Students Design Customer Experience for 10 Corso Como
Students in five Domus Academy master’s programs joined forces in a multidisciplinary workshop called “Retail Therapy,” in collaboration with the Milan shopping and dining complex 10 Corso Como, and presented their final projects July 4. Founded in 1990 by gallerist and publisher Carla Sozzani, 10 Corso Como features multiple outlets that show and sell works of art, fashion, music, design, cuisine, and culture.
After analyzing an existing concept store, our students were asked to develop an experimental and innovative user experience for 10 Corso Como, focusing on the extension of the digital domain and online channels into the outlet space. The project’s goal was to enhance and enrich the 10 Corso Como customer experience by defining new and innovative services, as well as interactive design and spatial solutions, that are consistent with the complex’s brand values.
Students in the Master in Interior and Living Design, Master in Business Design, Master in Interaction Design, Master in Product Design, and Master in Visual Brand Design programs worked under the supervision of project manager Claudio Marenco Mores, architect and designer Nikolaos Koronis, and Elisa Chiodo and Fabio Pugliese of Domus Academy.
Due to this pandemic, Luliang Chen chose the photographer as the user of his project. Photographers need to frequently work outdoor, therefore functions and lifestyles need to change accordingly.
