Fashion Landscape is a research-based podcast created by first-year students of the Master of Arts in Fashion: Design, Arts & Technology at Domus Academy. Developed within the course led by Denise Bonapace, the project explores how fashion intersects with culture, society, politics, technology, and the environment.
Rather than presenting a traditional history of fashion, Fashion Landscape investigates the transformations that shaped the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century. Through critical research and storytelling, fashion emerges as a dynamic system in constant dialogue with art, photography, music, media, and contemporary society.

Five Research Projects, Five Perspectives on Fashion
Structured as an open field of exploration, the podcast brings together five collective research projects, each examining the relationship between fashion and contemporary culture from a unique perspective:
Together, these projects connect references, historical events, visual cultures, social movements, and creative practices, encouraging new ways of understanding fashion as both a cultural and social phenomenon.
Fashion Research Beyond Chronology
Moving away from a linear narrative, Fashion Landscape invites students to build personal and collective research maps. The project fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary investigation, demonstrating how fashion can be read through multiple lenses and connected to broader cultural transformations.
