For more than two decades, Gianandrea played a significant role in the life of Domus Academy. Through his teaching, academic leadership, and ongoing engagement with the School, he helped foster a culture of critical thinking, experimentation and interdisciplinary collaboration. From 2006 to 2012, he served as Director of the Master in Urban Vision & Architectural Design and later as Scientific Advisor of the Design Cluster, contributing to the education of generations of young designers and architects.

Through his teaching, academic leadership, and ongoing engagement with the School, he helped foster a culture of critical thinking, experimentation and interdisciplinary collaboration. From 2006 to 2012, he served as Director of the Master in Urban Vision & Architectural Design and later as Scientific Advisor of the Design Cluster, contributing to the education of generations of young designers and architects.
An internationally recognised professional, he contributed to some of the most influential architectural projects of recent decades, bringing into the classroom the strength of a truly global practice. Among his most notable projects are Bosco Verticale in Milan, developed with Boeri Studio, the Siemens Headquarters in Milan, and Villa Méditerranée in Marseille, all reflecting his commitment to innovative and sustainable design.
Beyond his achievements, Gianandrea was a constant source of inspiration for both students and colleagues: always open, visionary, and deeply proactive. He fostered a collaborative environment and encouraged new ways of thinking, leaving a lasting impact on the entire academic community.
