“I come from a small town in Georgia, and I had always dreamed of studying in Italy. I imagined applying to different universities, but Domus Academy seemed like an unattainable dream. However, I proved to myself that with hard work and the support of my parents, even the impossible can become possible.

I knew that Domus Academy offered many opportunities to its students, but I am still amazed by just how many opportunities we actually have. We are taught by incredibly talented lecturers who are leaders in their fields worldwide. We also have the chance to participate in workshops with top companies.

They help us understand the deeper essence of architecture — it is not just about creating drawings for buildings. Every step we take has meaning, and every decision is supported by valuable feedback from our lecturers. We also have the opportunity to visit research sites, which makes the learning process even more engaging and exciting.

In the evenings, my classmates and I spend time together, getting to know each other’s cultures, which makes this journey at Domus Academy even more enjoyable and unforgettable.

Additionally, I have the opportunity to take one-day trips to explore the beautiful cities near Milan, as well as visit museums and design showrooms in the city.

We truly have endless opportunities — to learn, to meet outstanding architects, to travel, to explore museums, and to spend meaningful time with friends.”
