Students Selected for Exhibition During Altaroma 2018
Adireg Comenoi and Gyanendu Baruah, alumni of Domus Academy’s Master in Fashion Design 2017, have been selected for an exhibition called “A.I. 50yearslater”. Mounted by Clara Tosi Pamphili and Alessio de Navasques of A.I. Artisanal Intelligence, the exhibition will take place at the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome on January 25 and 26, 2018, during the AltaRoma fashion event.
50 years after 1968 and its youth revolution, the exhibition gives space and voice to a new generation of emerging designers who reflect on contemporary utopias and dystopias, urban nomadism, civil disobedience, and environmental issues. They do so through the re-interpretation of traditional production techniques, such as embroidery, lacing, and hand-stitching, to name a few.
A.I. Artisanal Intelligence creates dedicated cultural events that merge fashion, design, and art, mounting exhibitions at international fashion events and generating synergies between designers and artists who promote Italian contemporary culture and heritage.
Students analysed the impact of humans on nature and then realised a roaming space where all data collected.
