Alumna Wins the Confartigianato Moda Award

Barbara Pala, alumna of Domus Academy’s Master in Fashion Design program, together with Antonella Tedde, has won a national contest by the artisan association Confartigianato Moda. Called “Young Italian Tailors,” the contest is addressed to Italian fashion designers under 40.
Thanks to this award, Barbara and Antonella had the opportunity to show their collections during Milano Fashion Week, the international event that hosts 30,000 visitors and buyers annually. Their exhibition was within APART, a three-day event that shows to the press and buyers a selection of luxury and superior craftsmanship.
Barbara Pala and Antonella Tedde are the founders of LabPLATDD, a fashion tailoring laboratory that works with textiles to create new, intuitive and original objects, combining design, fashion, and craft traditions.
