Sara Badovinac operates at the intersection of architecture and exhibition design, crafting spatial experiences that engage and inspire. She began her studies in architecture in Ljubljana and further deepened her expertise at Domus Academy in Milan, pursuing the Master in Interior & Living Design. Her work focuses on rethinking exhibition formats by blending modularity, adaptability, and storytelling. During her time in Milan, she gained hands-on experience at a renowned exhibition design studio, exploring innovative approaches to spatial storytelling.
She is the co-founder of Sara & Sara, a spatial practice dedicated to developing innovative ways of presenting content through objects and installations. Collaborating with cultural institutions, the studio challenges traditional display methods, creating dynamic spatial concepts. Among their notable projects, they designed the pavilion for Slovenia’s historic debut as the Guest of Honor at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair.

Her projects have been showcased at prestigious design events such as Salone del Mobile in Milan, Tirana Design Week, Mikser Festival in Belgrade, Skopje Design Week, Design Month in Ljubljana, Ambienta Fair in Zagreb, and Design Week in Sofia.
