Damla is a Milan-based Business Design Strategist with a strong international background in branding, strategic thinking, and design innovation. With a deep passion for creating and conceptualizing strategic opportunities, she thrives on collaborating with designers, her teams, and clients to link the gap between design thinking and business thinking. Her unique ability to integrate creative and analytical approaches has led her to participate in a wide range of high-profile design competitions and workshops, including the Global Grad Show, Milan Design Week, Ducati Design Marathon, and corporate innovation projects with Danone, Barilla, Forevermark, and Lifegate.
Currently working at arteficegroup as a Brand Strategist and Designer, Damla has been involved in both strategic brand development and design execution since February 2023. Prior to this, she worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer with NBCUniversal in London for over a year, and previously held the role of Brand Strategist at Innovation by Design in Milan, where she was responsible for design research and the strategic dissemination of insights across digital and physical formats. Earlier in her career, she gained valuable experience as an Interior Design Intern at Asti Architetti in Milan.

Damla holds a Double Award Master’s Degree in Business Design from Domus Academy, in collaboration with Regent’s University London, where she graduated Cum Laude. Her academic achievements reflect her strong foundation in strategy, branding, entrepreneurship, and business development. She also completed an exchange program in New York, where she designed a product to enhance privacy and mental health in small apartments during the COVID-19 pandemic, developing not only the design but also the business and production strategies for potential launch in Dubai. Previously earned her Bachelor’s degree in Design in Milan.
Her work has received numerous recognitions, including 1st place in the Ducati Design and Branding Marathon and a finalist position at the Global Grad Show. Fluent in Turkish, English, and Italian, Damla brings a multicultural approach to her projects. Known for her warm personality, collaborative spirit, and proactive mindset, Damla is valued by colleagues for her ability to combine creative ideas with strategic thinking to support project goals.
