Anna is a Georgian architect and urban designer based in Amsterdam, where she leads her independent international practice, studioDZE.
Her work combines architectural clarity, contextual sensitivity, and sustainable urban strategies, shaped by a cross-cultural background and experience across various project scales. Anna began her architectural path in Tbilisi, earning her bachelor’s degree and gaining practical experience through internships focused on urban planning and sustainable design, including work on a national capital masterplan.
Driven by a global perspective, she won first prize in the Domus Academy scholarship competition, which led to a Master’s in Urban Vision & Architectural Design in Milan. During her studies, she also collaborated on a winning project exhibited at the Milan Triennale (999 domande)

Following graduation in 2018, Anna spent five years in Milan, working with firms such as Arcadis Italia and Vincenzo De Cotiis. She contributed to residential, cultural, and large-scale urban projects, Sharpening her ability to translate concepts into thoughtful, culturally aware architecture.
In 2023, she established studioDZE in the Netherlands as a platform for her design philosophy and research-driven practice. The studio works internationally, engaging in a wide range of projects from public space and urban strategies to interior design and bespoke residences.
Anna’s work is grounded in place-making, material honesty, and cultural storytelling. Through each project, she continues to explore how architecture and urban design can shape meaningful, responsive environments that enhance everyday life.
