What is Domus Academy Dual Award Master?

The Domus Academy Dual Award Master’s Programme offers students the opportunity to earn two prestigious qualifications: an Academic Master’s Degree accredited by the Italian Ministry of Universities and Research (MUR) and a Master of Arts Degree awarded by Regent’s University London. This dual recognition enhances the international value of your education, providing a competitive edge in the global job market.
The programmes are available across a range of creative and strategic fields, including Fashion Design, Fashion Styling & Visual Merchandising, Interior & Living Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, Fashion Management, Luxury Brand Management, Visual Brand Design, Business Design, Service Design, and Urban Vision & Architectural Design. Each programme blends advanced academic content with hands-on industry experience, shaping professionals ready to lead innovation in their chosen sector.

While the standard Academic Master’s Programme comprises five modules—including courses, workshops, a professional experience, and a final project—the Dual Award path extends the curriculum with additional dedicated classes and a sixth module focused on a Final Major Project. This comprehensive structure allows for deeper academic exploration and practical application.
The Dual Award Master’s Programme awards a total of 180 UK credits (equal to 90 ECTS) plus 60 ECTS. This dual-credit system reflects the expanded scope and academic rigor of the programme.

The UK validation provides international recognition of your degree, facilitating access to a wider range of doctoral programmes and career opportunities globally. Additionally, students enrolled in the Dual Award Programme have the chance to spend a week at Regent’s University London, engaging in special teaching activities and exploring London’s vibrant creative scene.
As part of this international academic experience, a graduation ceremony is also held at Regent’s University London, giving students the opportunity to celebrate their achievement in one of the UK’s most prestigious academic settings and connect with a global community of graduates.

Applicants must hold a first-level academic degree (bachelor’s degree or academic diploma) in a field related to their chosen master’s course. A certificate of English language proficiency is also required, with an IELTS score of 5.5 (minimum 5.5 in each component) or equivalent.

For the 2025–26 academic year, the total fees are:

  • €26.500 for EU and Switzerland students (€3.000 pre-enrollment + €23.500 tuition)
  • €32.500 for non-EU and Switzerland students (€3.000 pre-enrollment + €29.500 tuition)

These fees reflect the additional value and opportunities provided by the dual qualification.

Domus Academy offers a range of merit-based scholarships for students applying to the Dual Award Master’s Programmes. These scholarships can significantly reduce tuition fees and are awarded based on the strength of the applicant’s portfolio, academic background, and motivation. Competitions and dedicated scholarship calls are launched periodically, allowing prospective students to apply and showcase their creative and strategic thinking. This initiative is part of Domus Academy’s commitment to supporting emerging talent and making high-quality international education more accessible.

Graduates benefit from a robust academic foundation and practical experience, making them attractive to employers worldwide. The dual degrees signify a comprehensive education recognised in both Italy and the UK, opening doors to international career paths and further academic pursuits. Additionally, students gain access to the alumni networks of both Domus Academy and Regent’s University London, expanding their professional connections.
Importantly, students of the Dual Award Master’s Programme report an excellent employment rate—within one year of graduation, with an impressive 98% employment rate for those completing the Dual Award Master’s, as certified by BVA Doxa. This highlights the programme’s effectiveness in preparing students for the demands of the global job market.
