In the Master in Luxury Brand Management program, you will learn how to help luxury brands develop meaningful values, powerful messaging, and memorable customer experiences. You will analyze the individual and social behavior of customers and apply your insights as you plan new products for a luxury collection, create fashion editorials, or design compelling displays of luxury goods.

Who Should Apply

The program is addressed to candidates who have a first-level degree and/or professional experience in design and the arts.

It is also open to candidates with a background in economics, management, or the humanities, if they are motivated by strong interest in the field of luxury goods, services, and experiences.

Explore the Program

The Master in Luxury Brand Management program is workshop-based, supported by seminars, lectures, tutorials, and fieldwork. Industry professionals, the program leader, and project leaders will guide you via individual coaching and mentorship.

The program consists of four customizable course/workshop modules, followed by a professional experience period and a final portfolio presentation.

Courses

Coursework explores management, economic, and manufacturing strategies for fashion and luxury brands. You will practice using marketing and communication tools to promote luxury products and services, and you will learn to brand your own work as you develop your own professional identity.

Workshops

Guided by industry professionals and faculty project leaders, you will work with leading companies on practical projects such as proposing new products within a brand, producing a fashion editorial for a magazine, or developing a coherent visual display from concept to execution.

Professional Experience

To gain real experience working in your field, you will choose from an internship at a company site, a work project on campus in collaboration with a company, or an entrepreneurship module. In each case, you will benefit from mentorship, an inside perspective on your field, and valuable career connections.

Your Program Leader

Luca Tarasco

Luca co-founded digital and social impact projects that won many entrepreneurial awards as WCAP-Tim Working Capital, StartUpfor EXPO2015, Mob App Award from SMAU and several other recognitions. A deep UX research in the retail industry led him and his team in developing an innovative industrial production methodology protected by a National Patent since 2017. His commitment in social impact projects involved him in the UNIDO program Entrepreneurs for Social Change, as a social entrepreneur and Member of Selection Jury. Luca collaborated as a Mentor at EIA, at Faster Capital Accelerator and in Hackability’s co-design projects.

Because of the accomplishments got in 2017, in January 2018 he has been appointed as the winner of the Domus Academy Alumni Award. He also advised for Healthware Group, startups and multinational companies in the medical-pharma industry on user experience strategies for healthcare. Luca got academic education in philosophy, conceptual design at the Design Academy of Eindhoven, enrolled in the Master Class of Apple Developer Academy and got a full grade MA at Domus Academy.

Each one-year Academic Master’s program (60 ECTS) at Domus Academy involves the following costs, in addition to a € 540 Academic Master’s Degree Fee, which must be paid within one month before the course start date. The Academic Master’s diploma is recognized by MIUR and awarded by NABA.
