Domus Academy is pleased to announce that Christian Tubito, Kering Material Innovation Lab Director, will be the guest speaker for the upcoming session of Disrupting Patterns Talk, the series exploring emerging visions shaping the future of design. The conversation will be moderated by Elisa Chiodo, Head of School of Business at Domus Academy.
With a distinguished career dedicated to material innovation, sustainability, and research, Christian Tubito oversees the integration of pioneering, responsible solutions across Kering’s Houses and supply chains. His work has recently earned him a nomination in the “Sustainability Thought Leaders” category of the Vogue Business 100 Innovators – Class of 2025, recognising his influence within the global fashion and design industry.
Before joining Kering, Tubito played a central role at Material Connexion Italia, where he managed consultancy activities for companies and supported public-sector innovation through EU-funded research projects. He holds a degree in Industrial Design, complemented by research and training experiences at Philips Design in the Netherlands and Queensland University of Technology in Australia.
