Change Design – Change is good. A lecture by Renato Montagner
On the 18th of June Domus Academy hosted Creative Director and Design Consultant Renato Montagner, who gave a lecture entitled ‘Change Design – Change is good’ to students participating in the Advance Design Processes and Fashion Collection workshops.
Renato Montagner founded Change Design in 2000, a multifaceted studio based in Venice and Milan with a common vision: ‘change is good’. The company explores new scenarios creating a new market for innovative products, changing rules and crossing design experiences from different fields. Change Design’s works include a customized Fiat Panda, the Cassina catalogue, Fabbian lamps, Segis Group chairs and backpacks for Invicta among others.
Montagner is currently Project Leader of Master in Design program at Domus Academy in Milan and teaches Fashion Design at Politecnico of Milan. He also worked as Design Consultant for many leading Italian companies such as Pirelli, Valextra, Alcantara and Dainese.
An interior design project conceived with irony, both in terms of the client’s personality and in terms of spaces.
