As part of a six-week workshop held in collaboration with Icon magazine, students of the Master in Fashion Styling & Visual Merchandising programme at Domus Academy were challenged to create branded fashion content designed for both print and digital platforms. The workshop, which ran from December 2024 to January 2025, invited students to develop projects aligned with Icon’s editorial identity—focusing on visual storytelling, brand relevance, and cutting-edge styling practices.

The standout project, Twofold, created by students Vana Saad, Matilde Villani, and Pooja Gupta, captured the attention of both faculty and Icon’s fashion team. It explores the theme of “Truth” through a narrative that balances formal rigor with expressive freedom. Set in a suspended domestic atmosphere, the fashion editorial portrays a single protagonist and their emerging alter ego using styling to convey internal conflict and identity duality.
The final deliverables included a multi-page fashion editorial, a short fashion film, and an editorial distribution plan tailored for social and digital media. The project was published on the printed ICON Magazine edition May 2025.
