TOG Fab’s Awards was created by students from the Master in Business Design and Master in Visual Brand Design programmes at Domus Academy, as part of the New Product Strategies workshop in partnership with Fondazione TOG.
The project re-envisions the TOG FabLab—a digital fabrication hub and workshop within TOG’s Milan center, which provides free, specialised care for children with neurological conditions. Dedicated to addressing their unique needs, the FabLab develops custom assistive devices using cutting-edge digital technologies. It exemplifies how design and innovation can produce impactful, real-world solutions that enhance lives.
Conceived by Alberto Caiola, Juliana Gomes Pippi, Paula Andrea Gamba C., Dayoung Yoo and Georgianna Stamatopoulou, the project redefines the TOG FabLab as an inclusive hub for design innovation, extending its role beyond internal functions to involve external partners and the wider community.

Tackling accessibility challenges in design and manufacturing, it transforms the FabLab into a co-creative space where companies, designers, and users develop assistive products together. The award process connects children with neurological conditions to companies and designers to co-create assistive technologies that drive social progress. These children are not merely the focus of the initiative—they are active participants at every stage and the true driving force behind the project.
The awards not only celebrate excellence in inclusive design but also support TOG’s growth across Italy by generating revenue. Ultimately, the project strengthens TOG’s position as a change-maker, closing accessibility gaps and providing vital tools to help children with complex neurological conditions thrive.
