Domus Academy and Fondazione Gianfranco Ferré Win the People’s Choice Award at Milano Fashion Film Festival

The movie Identity Through Ferré was nominated for Best Documentary at the Milano Fashion Film Festival and won the People’s Choice Award.
Created by Domus Academy in collaboration with Fondazione Gianfranco Ferré, the film was directed by Federico Cianferoni, together with two talented students from the Master in Fashion Styling and Visual Merchandising, Pinda Purodakaonda and Xiaoyu Wang. It was produced by Art+Vibes: Max Brun, Roberta Gigi, and Giuppy D’Aura.
The documentary explores how the vision, personality, design methodology, and collections of Gianfranco Ferré—known as “the architect of fashion” and a former teacher at Domus Academy—have affected the creative identities of the current generation of fashion designers. The story is told through the words of Master in Fashion Design students and alumni Tritti Tarkulwaranont, Gyanendu Baruah, Poorvadheep, Carolin Woitke, Sofia Barzaghi, and Minji Kim.
