Domus Academy Collaborates with Ferrero for Kinder Surprise
Domus Academy is pleased to announce its new collaboration with the Italian chocolate giant Ferrero.
During the Advanced Design Process workshop, Master in Product Design students will have the chance to work on redesigning the surprises inside children’s favorite eggs, Kinder Surprise. Students will aim to design new Kinder Surprise toys that satisfy children from all over the world, regardless of culture, gender, or age.
The target audience of the Domus Academy product designers is children between the ages of 3 and 6, who are curious, creative, and imaginative, and who love experimenting and discovering. The designed surprises should encourage learning, cognition, problem solving, imagination, relating to others, manual coordination, and discovery.
Other challenging parameters are that students must consider the safety requirements of Kinder and design new concepts for surprises that are immediate and intuitive.
Due to this pandemic, Luliang Chen chose the photographer as the user of his project. Photographers need to frequently work outdoor, therefore functions and lifestyles need to change accordingly.
