Student Services

Domus Academy’s Student Life Office is here to make all students feel welcome and supported in our vibrant, inclusive, international community. We offer help with logistics, organize trips and sporting events, and connect students with health services. Our office is located in Building A on the ground floor.

Help with Logistics

The Student Life Office can help you with the practical side of living in Milan so you can settle down and feel at home here. We can advise you on how to get health insurance, set up a bank account, get an Italian mobile number, and obtain your fiscal code card and permit of stay.


Parties and Trips

We facilitate fun extracurricular activities so you can socialize with your international and Italian classmates outside of class. We host welcome breakfasts, student parties, movie nights, and cultural trips such as street art tours in Milan. We also organize short trips such as ski weekends and city visits in Italy and beyond, where you can discover the beauty and charms of Europe.


Sports and Fitness

Interested students from Domus and NABA can join our men’s football (soccer) or basketball team or the women’s volleyball team. Students train together and compete in tournaments with other Milanese universities. We also host an annual on-campus sport tournament, with participation open to all.

Recreational classes and clubs such as Biodanza, Dancing Club, Drama Club, and yoga are offered on campus.

Special Deals

Through the Student Life Office, you can also take advantage of special deals we have with certain services, such as private clinics, dentists, movie theaters, and banks, as well as with sports centers, restaurants, and retail shops. You will find all the current deals on your MyDomus portal.

Additional exclusive services and cultural opportunities are offered to students through the Project for the Attraction of International Talents to Milan Universities, an innovative program supported by the Milan Chamber of Commerce & Industry together with a group of Milanese universities and schools that Domus Academy and NABA belong to.

Among the services offered is the Milan Identity Card, which provides foreign students with discounts on activities at important cultural centers in Milan (e.g., the Triennale di Milano, Piccolo Teatro, Museo della Scienza e della Tecnica, and more). The card also offers some discounts on local transportation.


Physical Health

We have special agreements with local medical centers and dentists. If you need a regular medical check-up or a visit to a specialist, we can inform you about options. Our team can also help you get health insurance in Italy.


Counselling Services

The service offers students a space for listening where they are supported when tackling any difficulties during their study path as well as any interpersonal relationship or their personal growth path they may be finding challenging (e.g. experiencing cultural differences, anxiety also related to the academic path and in general, difficulty in relationship with classmates, difficulties in relational/affective life, distance from home and loneliness, handling emotions, etc.).

The Counselling service is a short cycle of individual consultations (approximately 10/12 sessions), once a week or every two weeks. Each consultation lasting approximately 50 minutes. The sessions can be conducted in either English or Italian according to the student’s preference. The service is provided by Mrs Silvia Signorelli, Professional Counsellor, at her professional studio in Milan, via Panfilo Castaldi 28 (Porta Venezia area). Students can have access to this service for free up to 3 sessions. After the 3rd session, a special price is granted to Domus Academy students for any subsequent sessions needed.

Students with Physical Disabilities and SENs

Although Domus Academy does not offer a specialized tutoring service nor special learning tools for students with physical disabilities or special educational needs (SENs), our faculty and staff members actively engage in removing obstacles to the learning process. We make accommodations relating to exams and academic monitoring.
