As the final thesis of the Master in Fashion Styling & Visual Merchandising, the student Liu Yufei developed a project named “The Glacier Dancer”.
The idea arose from the realisation that we live in a society characterised both by the development of artificial intelligence, synthetic materials and technologies and contrasted by an increasing emphasis on issues related to environmental protection and sustainability. Through “The Glacier Dancer” the designer wants to explore how the concepts of man-made and nature intertwine in modern society and fashion.

The campaign is designed to be launched by Stella McCartney, longtime pioneer in environmental protection and sustainable fashion, and will be named “Song of the Glacier”. The collection takes inspiration from glaciers and uses environment-friendly materials to highlight the connection between humans and nature.
In order to promote public awareness of environmental protection and responsible consumption, the campaign will be spread through social media, partnerships with fashion magazines, digital marketing campaign and public relations efforts.
The goal of the project is to showcase Stella McCartney’s leadership in sustainable fashion and her brand’s strong dedication to the global environmental movement.
