We are excited to present Pattern Dialogues, a special exhibition showcasing the work of our 2-Year MA in Fashion: Design, Art & Technology students during the courses Advanced Form Making and Digital Manufacturing Processes. The exhibition will be on view in the Domus Academy Hall from September 17th to October 3rd.
Developed through two complementary approaches, Pattern Dialogues explores the conversation between Form and Technology in contemporary pattern making. Students experimented with draping and moulage, turning donated fabric remnants into striking three-dimensional garments, before translating their creations into precise digital patterns. At the same time, they embraced digital prototyping, designing garments in 3D, selecting fabrics, defining finishes, and simulating movement before bringing the designs to life physically. The result is a collection of garments that seamlessly bridges creativity and technical mastery, merging the physical and digital worlds.
Join us from September 17th for the opening and take the chance to meet our students, explore their innovative creations, and discover how creativity, experimentation, and technology come together to shape the future of fashion design.
