Students Work on Jeans and Accessories Design for Versus
Students within the Master in Fashion Design, Master in Fashion Management, and Master in Fashion Styling and Visual Merchandising programs will collaborate with the brand Versus—a line of the luxury fashion house Versace—in a workshop called “Deni’m—Anti-Establishment Jeans.”
Students will work intensively to rethink a five-pocket jean design and an accessory in line with the brand identity, making prototypes. They will also plan an event for the launch of the new designs, communicating a glamorous brand image while developing design and space solutions.
Versus captures the mood of what it feels like to be young, independent, self-confident, rebellious, and living absolutely in the moment. Said Gianni Versace, “Versus was born with an innate creative approach, with a strong focus on innovation, flair, and the unconventional. An artistic force that takes present fashion forward, anticipating new trends and embracing challenge.”
