Resilient Roofs Workshop
Domus Academy opened the workshop in Experience Design titled “Resilient Roofs – Platforms and Experiences for Urban Regeneration” organized in collaboration with 100 Resilient Cities (Municipality of Milan) and Arup. On the 2nd October Domus Academy will host lectures by Piero Pelizzaro (Chief Resilient Officer, Municipality of Milan), Paolo Cresci (Sustainability and Building Services Team Leader at ARUP) and Serena Girani (Senior Architect at Arup). Contents of the lectures will be 100 Resilient Cities Programme, dedicated to helping cities around the world become more resilient to the challenges that are a growing part of the 21st century, and about sustainable design fostered by ARUP.
Master’s in Interaction Design and Master’s in Service Design students will be involved in designing new experiences and platforms for the promotion and development of resilient roofs in the Municipality of Milan.
Within the one month workshop, students will create a digital and physical prototypes proposing new purposes for roofs in Milan.
An interior design project conceived with irony, both in terms of the client’s personality and in terms of spaces.
