Master’s in Fashion Styling & Visual Merchandising students selected by Slowear
Domus Academy Master in Fashion Styling & Visual Merchandising students Aastha Taneja and Soumya Bansal were selected for the Slowear “Call for project” for the design of The Rinascente two frontal windows dedicated to Zanone, one of the Slowear brands.
Starting from the Zanone heritage, Aastha Taneja and Soumya Bansal’s project is inspired by the research and technology that went behind the making of these fine elegant knits and attempted to portray the same through their concept. Zanone started off in 1986 as a company specialising in knitwear, standing out for its sophisticated and minimalist style that turns every garment into a veritable design object.
Slowear is a family business concept and an Italian lifestyle project combining four historic Italian fashion brands that share a high level of specialisation. Slowear was built on product-centric passion, and promotes a ‘durable’ fashion concept, spreading a more ethical and sustainable consumption model.
The real windows realized by Slowear will be on show from 11th to 17th June 2019 at La Rinascente.
The best windows designed by the most important Italian Design school will be awarded by two prizes.
Good luck to our students!
Due to this pandemic, Luliang Chen chose the photographer as the user of his project. Photographers need to frequently work outdoor, therefore functions and lifestyles need to change accordingly.
