Fabio Novembre Domus Academy Scientific Director at Seoul Design Festival
We are proud to announce that Domus Academy Scientific Director Fabio Novembre was a guest at the Seoul Design Festival.
On 14th November at Coex 401 in Seoul, Domus Academy Scientific Director Fabio Novembre held the lecture “French fries and Italian design” to a large audience.
Starting from the beginning of Italian Design, the famous “art of getting by” that led a generation to reinvent a world from objects for the home, just as a famous designer once said “from the spoon to the city”. That design sensitivity, long considered an Italian monopoly, today is expressed by excellence from any source.
Fruits of generations nurtured with the same cultural food that produced massifying effects, but also encouraged individual ideas by transforming personal visions into universal icons.
Italian design today can no longer belong to a single country: it is a totem, a human right, like a portion of French fries.
Seoul Design Festival is a design-specialized exhibition which has been promoting young designers and design brands for the past 16 years in Korea.
Students of the Master’s Programme in Interior & Living Design designed a space to encourage communication and self-expression.
