Envisioning Workshop: lectures by Fosbury Architecture and Francesco Faccin
Within the context of the Envisioning Workshop, Domus Academy will host Fosbury Architecture giving a lecture on ‘Storytelling. Projects, rhetoric and cliché’ to Master’s in Interior and Living Design students. Fosbury Architecture is an Italian collective of architectural design and research based in Milan and Rotterdam. Founded in 2013, the studio engages in a wide range of projects, from urban strategies to domestic environments, from independent fanzines to labyrinths.
Domus Academy also hosted designer Francesco Faccin, who gave a lecture about his creative experience in the slum of Nairobi inspiring Master’s in Product Design students to understand what the language is in Design. Francesco Faccin started his own studio in Milan in 2007, after collaborating with Enzo Mari. His work is shown on a regular basis at some of the most important Design galleries in Milan, such as Rossana Orlandi and Nilufar.
