Domus Academy students win the Oltrefrontiera Prize
Great news for our Master in Fashion Styling and Visual Merchandising students! Thanks to their project “Spatial”, Ana Maria Fessmann, Mansi Sanjaykumar Gajjar, Ritika Sharma, Regina Graceselda and Lan Yu have won the Oltrefrontiera Prize.
The students created the winning project during the Workshop “The Window Display. When Goods Become a Show”, under the guidance of the project leader, Marica Gigante and project advisor, Gianfranco Olivotto.
The workshop provided an in-depth exploration into visual merchandising objectives and dynamics.
Working in collaboration with Oltrefrontiera Progetti, one of the leading tailor-made window displays company with over than 25 year experience in the Luxury Fashion segment, study groups have contributed to the designing for the exhibition: “WINDOW DISPLAY. WHEN GOODS BECOME A SHOW – The exhibition as a project to enhance the retail space”.
The main purpose of the workshop was to define a complete visual project aimed to curate, design and communicate the exhibition, following the guidelines suggested by Oltrefrontiera. Students worked on the creativity for the window display of the future, leveraging brand identity, technology, material and tools in order to enhance the customer retail experience.
The creative direction of Oltrefrontiera rewarded the project “Spatial” for “its creativity and feasibility”.
Due to this pandemic, Luliang Chen chose the photographer as the user of his project. Photographers need to frequently work outdoor, therefore functions and lifestyles need to change accordingly.
