“AwAIRness Control”, Interaction Design Workshop in collaboration with Midea
A new exciting Interaction Design workshop titled “AwAIRness Control” has been launched by Domus Academy in collaboration with the Milan Design Innovation Center RAC of Midea.
Under the guidance of co-project leaders Paolo Lorini and Michele Aquila, and project advisors Alice Mela and Luca Feliciani, 30 students of different Masters conceived and designed innovative interaction concepts for air conditioned remote controls. At the end of the workshop, two projects have been selected by Midea RAC Team (Federico Ferretti, Federico Perego, Jin Zi and Daniel Turiani) and will be presented at Midea’s head quarter in China to inspire future remote control design of the company.
Founded in 1968 in Guangdong, China, Midea is a world’s leading technologies group in consumer appliances and air-conditioning.
Students analysed the impact of humans on nature and then realised a roaming space where all data collected.
