Master in Service Design collaborate with the partners of program UE Sharing Cities
During the workshop “I listen to your heart, city”, Domus Academy Master in Service Design students, had the great opportunity to collaborate with the partners of the program UE Sharing Cities and to contribute with ideas and proposals to the activities of 100 Resilient Cities for the territory of the Municipality of Milan.
The goal of the project was to think and design innovative ways for the city administration to listen to and/or collaborate with citizens on sustainability-related topics such as: mobility, risk/emergency/resilience, community/sharing. These topics are related to macro-objectives pursued by the Municipality of Milan such as: Internal Governance for the Public Administration and Collaborative Platforms for engaging citizens.
Sharing Cities is a program funded by the European Commission within the H2020 Lighthouse and provides the creation of intelligent and collaborative services as well as infrastructures in the three lighthouse cities; Milan, London and Lisbon, (soon to be replicated in Warsaw, Bordeaux and Burgas). The program has a value of € 25 million with the aim of generating €500 million of investments.
100 Resilient Cities – Pioneered by the Rockefeller Foundation (100RC) is dedicated to helping cities around the world become more resilient to the physical, social and economic challenges that are a growing part of the 21st century.
