Miguel Silva, Domus Academy former student of the Master in Product Design, also graduated in Industrial Design at Universidad del Valle de México – two prominent institutions of the Laureate International Universities Network – is pursuing his professional growth all around the world. Currently in China, he is working by Tao Design & Tao Tec, an industrial design company based in Hangzhou. Here, together with his team, he developed HeartBeat, belongs to MUAH – a new consumer electronic brand with portable heart-shaped audio device, that seek to engage people in an emotional level. It can also be decomposed and recomposed as a pill thanks to powerful magnets that hold two different speakers together. Once the two halves are rejoined and play together, connected to a smart device by Bluetooth, they illuminate with a heart- beat rhythm, like they were “kissing”.
This new product allows a unique user experience, enhancing the relationship between music and emotions.
