Massimiliano, in conversation with Francesca Vargiu, Head of Architecture and Interior Design at Studio Urquiola, will discuss his journey from the beginning to his latest achievements.

Massimiliano Dappero is an italian designer and, as he defines himself, a “friendly neighborhood urban designer” and an “observer of cities and people”.

Massimiliano is the director and founder of Persone Studio, an urban design practice based in Hong Kong, that aims to apply the human scale as a common denominator to the different project sizes and typologies.

He is also an adjunct assistant professor for the Master of Urban Design at the University of Hong Kong.

In 1999, he started working in the architecture industry in a small studio in Novi Ligure, his hometown. Later in 2008, he graduated in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Genoa, Italy. He attended Domus Academy earning his Master in Urban Vision & Architectural Design in 2010. After his training at Domus Academy, he moved to Hong Kong starting a new chapter in his life and career.
