Domus Academy welcomes Momoyo Kaijima who, together with Yoshiharu Tsukamoto and Yoichi Tamai, runs the Japanese architecture practice Atelier Bow-Wow to discuss the studio’s celebrated work.
In her conversation, Momoyo Kaijima will share ideas on various topics, such as reconsidering the balance between city and countryside, issues of size/scale in the urban landscape. She will focus on the decades of research of Atelier Bow Wow about the architectural impact of the two Tokyo Olympics.
Through Atelier Bow-Wow research and projects, she will share some thoughts through the lens of their unique philosophy regarding the City of Milan and the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics.
The talk will be held online on 19th November at 3 pm.
