Legendary Designer Elio Fiorucci Speaks at Domus Academy
Elio Fiorucci, one of the world’s most innovative professionals in the fields of fashion, design, and communication, gave a guest lecture to students of the Master in Product Design and Master in Interaction Design programs.
Fiorucci opened his first shop in Milan’s Galleria Passarella in 1967 and moved his brand to New York in 1976. He is credited with designing and popularizing stretch jeans, animal prints, and disco style.
This event was part of a workshop held in collaboration with Love Therapy and Kobalt Entertainment. Fiorucci was introduced by Claudio Moderini, Master in Interaction Design course leader, and Barbara Trebitsch, head of the Fashion School.
An interior design project conceived with irony, both in terms of the client’s personality and in terms of spaces.
