Domus Academy collaborates with Melissa

Domus Academy in collaboration with Melissa launch the product strategy workshop involving Master’s in Visual Brand Design and Master’s in Business Design students.

Melissa is currently assessing the opportunity to open a new pop-up temporary store in Milan, for this occasion the brand challenged Domus Academy students to develop a strategy helping the brand to evaluate feasible design solutions for the Temporary Shop. Based on the innovation and quality of design proposals, Melissa may select one project for the launch of the new pop-up store.

Students will need to analyze the actual Milanese contest and the target. The Melissa team asked students to propose a concept for a retail experience and an event to launch it.

Melissa is a Brazilian Shoes and Accessories brand renowned internationally. From 1979, Melissa created special products in collaborations with acclaimed professionals such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Karim Rashid, Zaha Hadid and Carla Sozzani, among others.

Melissa stands for individuality, comfort, great style and vegan. Its hallmark jelly shoes are made of plastic that is 100% recyclable.
