Domus Academy is pleased to welcome prospective students in Milan for an exclusive Open Fitting, personalised Campus tours and creative Workshop.
FASHION WEEK DOES NOT END IN SEPTEMBER
Fashion at Domus Academy continues throughout October 2026 with events for prospective students interested in discovering Domus Academy, its programmes and its creative community.
The programme leads up to Fashion Graduate Italia, where students from the Master in Fashion Design and the 2-Year Master of Arts in Fashion: Design, Art & Technology will present their collections. The Domus Academy fashion show, Crafted Voices, will take place at BASE Milano on 27 October 2026 at 4.00 pm
On 7 October 2026, from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, Domus Academy will host a live open fitting for Crafted Voices, a fashion show featuring students from the Master in Fashion Design and the Master of Arts in Fashion: Design, Art & Technology, as part of Fashion Graduate Italia. Visitors will see how students prepare their collections before they reach the runway.
The open fitting offers an opportunity to:
- Discover how a fashion show takes shape
- See collections fitted on professional models
- Observe the development of silhouettes, details and styling
- Experience collaboration between students and fashion professionals
Students will work with fashion stylist Ildo Damiano, professor and designer Antonio Di Domenico, Fashion Lab Specialist Ali Karami, and course leaders Gianfranco Olivotto and Margherita Mazza.

Prospective students can also visit the Domus Academy campus and experience life at an international design, fashion and business school in Milan.
Dates: 26 to 30 October 2026
Guided by an academic adviser, visitors will be able to:
- Explore the Academy’s creative laboratories and project spaces
- Discover its academic programmes and course structures
- Learn about its teaching methodology and industry connections
- Ask questions about admissions, career opportunities and student life in Milan

Beyond Fashion Futures is a creative workshop for high school students interested in fashion design. It explores the relationship between body, fabric, space and communication through moulage—the technique of draping fabric directly onto a mannequin.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Experiment with volume, movement and silhouette
- Develop ideas without using a predefined pattern
- Explore an intuitive and experimental approach to fashion design
- Experience Domus Academy’s creative learning methodology
The workshop will be guided by Ali Karami, Fashion Lab Specialist at Domus Academy, who supports students in developing their technical skills and experimental design practice.
Workshop schedule: Wednesday 28 October 2026, 3.00–5.00 pm
