In the Master in Information Design program, you will learn to apply the tools of visual design, data analysis, and creative coding to translate complex information into engaging visual narratives that are accessible to audiences of different backgrounds.
Who Should Apply
The program is addressed to candidates who have a first-level degree and/or professional experience in design (product, visual, graphic, media, or web design) or in architecture, computer science, or engineering.
It is also open to candidates with experience in communication science, psychology, sociology, or equivalent, if they are motivated by interest in information design and have a strong portfolio.

Explore the Program
The Master in Information Design program is workshop-based, supported by seminars, lectures, tutorials, and fieldwork. Industry professionals, the program leader, and project leaders will guide you via individual coaching and mentorship.
The program consists of four customizable course/workshop modules, followed by a professional experience period and a final portfolio presentation.
Coursework focuses on topics such as data analysis, design research methods and tools, and data visualization. You will learn to interpret, analyze, and represent data in compelling and accessible visual narratives.
Guided by industry professionals and faculty project leaders, you will work with leading companies on practical projects that develop your skills in graphic design and data analysis as you create effective infographics for company communications.
To gain real experience working in your field, you will choose from an internship at a company site, a work project on campus in collaboration with a company, or an entrepreneurship module. In each case, you will benefit from mentorship, an inside perspective on your field, and valuable career connections.
Several prestigious companies and design studios collaborate with the Master in Information Design program, actively participating in courses, workshops, internships, and international competitions organized by the department. Students have the opportunity to work directly with these companies in their workshop projects and internships. This direct collaboration facilitates mentorship and gives students access to a wide network of professional connections.

Fees and Scholarships
Each one-year Academic Master’s program (60 ECTS) at Domus Academy involves the following costs, in addition to a € 540 diploma fee, which must be paid at least one week before the course start date. The Academic Master’s diploma is recognized by MIUR and awarded by NABA.
