Master in Visual Brand Design Students work on a crowdfunding campaign
The students of the Master in Visual Brand Design have the chance to participate to the SO_Sarpi “creative ride”. Guided by Francesco Poroli, they will design visual representations in order to communicate the project “Ride with a mission” and the link between communities.
The cultural Association SO_Sarpi, born in Milan’s Chinatown district took part in the crowdfunding campaign “Ride with a mission” creating an additional chapter SO_Ride with a mission, a “creative ride” consisting of: events, workshops and talks.
After a project presentation by Cecilia Melli – SO_Sarpi Art Director and the illustrator Francesco Poroli, students began to design posters on the themes of #senegal, #water and #artandhabits.
The goal of this course is to support “Ride with a mission” the crowdfunding campaign hosted by the “Rete del Dono” with the aim to provide water and toilets to 10 schools in Senegal, reaching approximately 3,000 children.
The project leader of the initiative is Francesco Poroli a freelance illustrator and art director, based in Milan. Since 2000 he has been working for a wide range of clients, including The New York Times Magazine, Wired, GQ, Google, adidas, NBA, Red Bull, McDonal’s, Unicredit among others. His works have been awarded by Society of Illustrators New York and SPD – The Society of Publication Designers. He’s a founding member and president of Illustri.
Due to this pandemic, Luliang Chen chose the photographer as the user of his project. Photographers need to frequently work outdoor, therefore functions and lifestyles need to change accordingly.
