Laurameroni Design Collection
New creative design spaces have been developed in collaboration with Laurameroni Design Collection, a leading Italian company in the made to measure high-end furniture sector.
Design of Spaces Workshop gave the students a special opportunity to explore and create a new interior design scenario in different rooms within a residential context with innovative traditional models through using the surfaces and products of Laurameroni.
It allowed them to explore different ways of inhabiting the contemporary space, beginning with the analysis of behaviours, habits, and lifestyles that are in favour of their daily life.
They focused on the relationship between people and spatial and design systems, identifying criteria and solutions for developing concepts and innovative scenarios. In addition, they explored the context of their cultural and design background, examining the typical rooms and spaces of their country of origin. Through research, students were able to identify the peculiarities of those spaces, which became a key element informing and interpreting contemporary design proposals. The spaces and the use of scenarios became a setting for new experiments for the brand’s identity and philosophy.
Special thanks to Laurameroni, to our project leader Michele Ignaccolo and to Aoi Hasegawa, project mentor and Master’s Program Leader, and to our students!
Great job everyone!
