Students Chosen for Mind Mad in Design Workshop
Congratulations to the four Domus Academy students who were selected to be part of the 2018 MinD Mad in Design Workshop!
Master in Product Design students Erika Baffico, Goksu Cansu, and Roberta Di Cosmo, along with Master in Visual Brand Design student Giacomo Conti, had the opportunity to take part in five days of workshops together with other university students from all over Italy.
The fourth edition of the MinD Mad in Design Workshop, which is dedicated to welcoming and functional solutions in product design, was held at Camplus College Lingotto in Turin. Divided into six design teams, students explored the idea of the table as a place to meet, share, and work—not just as an object commonly found in the home. Also present for the workshop was Amelia Valletta, academic project leader of Domus Academy and member of the scientific committee of MinD.
MinD’s mission is to study new solutions and furnish spaces for clinical settings for patients with mental illness—spaces that ensure a minimum level of well-being for both patients and clinicians.
Due to this pandemic, Luliang Chen chose the photographer as the user of his project. Photographers need to frequently work outdoor, therefore functions and lifestyles need to change accordingly.
