Domus Academy collaborates with Marie Claire
Thanks to a collaboration between Domus Academy and Marie Claire, Domus Academy students have the opportunity to collaborate in the Bodytelling project.
Bodytelling is a project based on the female body with a creative/cultural slant that aims to engage “Generation Z” and its representatives, that in the future will be communication and creative professionals, who currently study in the excellent University Schools of Italy.
The name Bodytelling was born from the word storytelling, the art of telling stories to give a voice to young people, their talent and vision through the narrative tools of their training.
The goal is to understand how, today, we think about the woman’s body and how it is put on stage. A theme that has always belonged to the DNA of Marie Claire.
Students of the masters in Fashion Styling and Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Fashion Management, Luxury Brand Management, Interaction Design, Service Design and Visual Brand Design took part in the project presentation held by Ivana Spernicelli – Marie Claire Fashion Editor, Antonio Mancinelli – Marie Claire Senior editor and Erika Brenna curator of the project.
Under the supervision of the project leader Brais Vilasò, students will work on multimedia formats, videos, photos, stories and film scripts to represent their vision of woman’s body.
In May Marie Claire will announce the 20 finalists’ projects that will take part in the final event in June.
Due to this pandemic, Luliang Chen chose the photographer as the user of his project. Photographers need to frequently work outdoor, therefore functions and lifestyles need to change accordingly.
