Domus Academy and Google Italia open Talking Crafts exhibition
The pioneering exhibition ‘Talking Crafts’, by Domus Academy and Google Italia will open to public on September 27th.
The installation will show prototypes of students’ projects, which came out during a two-day Creative Marathon, under the guidance of Fabio Novembre, Domus Academy Scientific Director, and project leaders Francesco Dompieri, Hanna Ehlers and Francesco Librizzi. The objective was to imagine how Google devices could be merged with home furniture and objects.
Selected projects have been prototyped by Bitossi, Driade, FontanaArte, Kartell and will be featured in the exhibition.
Talking Craft will lead visitors through spaces resembling actual home’s room, where prototypes made on Domus Academy students’ projects can be experienced.
On 27th September at 6:30pm Domus Academy will present the talk: “Changing relationship with our objects: internet of things, technology and new behaviour”.
