The Course

In the Master in Luxury Brand Management program, you will learn how to help luxury brands develop meaningful values, powerful messaging, and memorable customer experiences. You will analyze the individual and social behavior of customers and apply your insights as you plan new products for a luxury collection, create fashion editorials, or design compelling displays of luxury goods.

Who Should Apply

The program is addressed to candidates who have a first-level degree and/or professional experience in design and the arts.

It is also open to candidates with a background in economics, management, or the humanities, if they are motivated by strong interest in the field of luxury goods, services, and experiences.

Explore the Program

The Master in Luxury Brand Management program is workshop-based, supported by seminars, lectures, tutorials, and fieldwork. Industry professionals, the program leader, and project leaders will guide you via individual coaching and mentorship.

The program consists of four customizable course/workshop modules, followed by a professional experience period and a final portfolio presentation.

Courses

Coursework explores management, economic, and manufacturing strategies for fashion and luxury brands. You will practice using marketing and communication tools to promote luxury products and services, and you will learn to brand your own work as you develop your own professional identity.

Workshops

Guided by industry professionals and faculty project leaders, you will work with leading companies on practical projects such as proposing new products within a brand, producing a fashion editorial for a magazine, or developing a coherent visual display from concept to execution.

Professional Experience

To gain real experience working in your field, you will choose from an internship at a company site, a work project on campus in collaboration with a company, or an entrepreneurship module. In each case, you will benefit from mentorship, an inside perspective on your field, and valuable career connections.

Maria Jaber

Your Program Leader

Maria Jaber

A graduate of the École Supérieure des Arts et techniques de la Mode, Maria Jaber worked for ten years as a costume designer, fashion buyer, product manager, and educator. After earning her Master in Fashion Management at Domus Academy in 2011, Maria joined the faculty later led that course until the end of 2016. She then founded Bad Accents, a branding studio collaborating with fashion, luxury, and lifestyle brands across Italy, Europe, and North America. While serving as her company’s creative director, she has rejoined the faculty as leader of the Master in Luxury Brand Management program.

Each one-year Academic Master’s program (60 ECTS) at Domus Academy involves the following costs, in addition to a € 520 diploma fee, which must be paid at least one week before the course start date. The Academic Master’s diploma is recognized by MIUR and awarded by NABA.

Rome Is More

Candidates will analyze Bulgari’s brand heritage, identity, and place of origin—Rome—and identify key elements that could be relevant and meaningful to a younger audience. After researching inspiring digital and social media campaigns by heritage brands, they will develop two digital campaigns that Bulgari could implement to attract new audiences.
