Exhibition, promoted by Comune di Milano, Settore Tempo Libero, in the context of the programme map 2w, residencies project of the european network Pépinières Européennes Pour Jeunes Artistes from October 2008 - May 2009, will be presented on Thursday, May 7th 2009, at La Fabbrica del Vapore, Milan

Astar, the cultural association that promotes and highlights culture and art
at any level, research and the development of projects in the field of multimediality
and audiovisual technologies especially connected to systems that spread
communication of any kind, presents the projects of three young artists realized
during their Milan residency.

Maria Azevedo Coutinho at Domus Academy.

The artists presented in the exhibition all work in different fields: illustration, video
and design. Thereinafter their stay in Milan, their works question about themes
concerning consumption, affections and which emotions they can evoke. These projects
suggest different points of view showing the connections between economy, human
behaviour and dreams. However, every work belongs to a specific artistic field and was
conceived with a specific technique, giving a personal interpretation of the following
argument: For Sale.
