New competitive contexts force companies and organizations alike to integrate models and managerial approaches with the action modalities and instruments expressed by the culture of the project. From this point of view, Design no longer plays a role relegated to the definition of the classic form-function, but rather presents itself as a fundamental ingredient in the creation of a company’s identity, installing new forms of relationship with demand, capturing weak signals and translating them into innovation and new business models.
In this sense, the new competitive challenges present managers, researchers and administrators with paradigms and questions about the forms of dialogue possible between the managerial culture and the culture of design.
This encounter will be an initial opportunity to investigate more deeply the evolutionary trajectories that this dialogue is taking on in diverse geographical contexts.
