by Dogukan Yilmaz, Oyku Ekin Guler, Liao Wan Chun, Rajadhananti Voravich, Shao Ya Chen
During the Expo 2015 in Milan it would be difficult for visitors to find a space for short work sections. Work-Mi is a new system providing people with a comfortable and functional working space. Even if located in abandoned spots, Work-Mi is easy to reach because it is located near by the Atm public transport system. Work Mi also enrich the city by activating unused urban spaces.
The users of Work-Mi can have access through a mobile application for searching the nearest place that it’s available to work. At the station there is one check point with a check-in and check-out system. The overall station has an extra function that adds a value into the urban scenario due to the lighting system that illuminates the area during the night time.
In other words, Work-Mi station gives the opportunity to strangers to become friends, creating a business network and not only.
