‘Together with four other friends, we started with a small initiative called ‘The Logical Indian’ on Facebook in 2014 with the objective of making people aware of the current Indian political situation. I was a creative lead. The Logical Indian is a form of alternate media and a mission-driven community which draws attention to important news and stories that are often ignored by the mainstream media. Currently, we have reached 60 million followers on Facebook. Contributing to society to bring change is something I have enjoyed a lot, as well as using a strategic design approach and using people’s psychology helps me to pursue my interest.’
Thanks to her project, Nancy will have the opportunity to take part in the United Nations that will take place at the Turin Training Center from 12 to 15 June.
In this occasion, she will learn and have first-hand experience of working with United Nations teams to help professional practitioners working on the ground to develop communication skills to create social change, on the path towards sustainable development.
