Gregory Polletta designs the prize Reutpala for the World Retail Awards 2015
Prof. Gregory Polletta – former student of the Master in Product Design, class of 2006, and founder of iGNITIATE, a company dealing with product development and innovation – designed the prize Reuptala for the World Retail Awards 2015. The ceremony took place last week in Rome and rewarded the best retailers of the year, from 50 different countries, including Alberto Alessi for the Lifetime Achievement Award for Design and Retail category.
The name REUTPALA comes from the union of two words, uptala, meaning longevity and renewal, and retail, and represents the universal spirit of the giving-take relationship.
Gregory Polletta is also co-founder of the gregorysung studio, which realized several projects for Magis, Guzzini, Artemide and many others.
iGNITIATE designs new products and innovations for small and middle-sized companies, research and development laboratories, and universities such as Louis Vuitton, Philips dePury, ENPC PhD Engineering, MIT, US Department of Defense, Bausch & Lomb, the US Navy. In 2016 iGNITIATE will launch the iGNITE program Harvard and several other multinational corporations and universities worldwide.
